As of the moment, this channel is posting episode of Siskel and Ebert and sometimes Roeper. Unlike other channels, we spend the time cleaning up each episode. In some cases, we piece together episodes so they're complete. I know some people don't like the little TV, however it's to maintain resolution. Back in the day, these episodes were filmed in standard definitiion. When the image is up-scaled, it gets blurry. The little TV is to maintain quality. This channel will never monetize. However, we do appreciate when you hit the "LIKE" button. If you'd like to help the channel complete it's Siskel and Ebert library and have complete episode's you'd like to send our way, please contact us! One last thing, no political talk. I delete all comments regarding politics.

BEAUTIFUL GIRLS is a great movie!
Gene about Bill Cosby "Give Up Control!" Yeah, that ain't gonna happen.
Even when I disagree with them, I still just love rewatching these.
Robert Redford was terribly miscast in 'Out of Africa'. With all of the great English actors in the world, one of them should have played the Englishman in the film.
Roger and Gene -- frenemies on screen, buds off screen, inimitable, triggering...we will always remember you! Thanks for your devotion to your craft, the movies and each other!
This is exactly why you shouldn't trust film critics who watch tons of movies but don't see the movies.
1.) Clayburgh got robbed, she was amazing, and Fonda was nothing special in Coming Home. 2.) Of the five nominees for Best Picture I would have voted for Midnight Express 3.) The scenes with Dyan Cannon and Charles Grodin were the best part of Heaven Can Wait. I like Maggie Smith but her victory for California Suite still makes no sense to me. 4.) Last Dance was a good choice for Best Song, and it's great that Donna Summer got to perform at the Oscars.
Wow. Siskel actually reviewed Blonde Ambition: a pornographic film
R.I.P. Tom Wilkinson.
Did Siskel & Ebert ever review the movie Blue Collar?
Craig Watson is one of my favorite actors
1998 ha ha a telethon. Little did they know about Monica
I Ought to be in Pictures was on Gene's Worst of 82 list
Boy, they blew it on American Tail! The animation was wonderful and beautiful and reflects the love that Don Bluth's animators put into their craft. The part about the Jews being kicked out of Russia, that was just to give the audience some historical context. The movie wasn't meant to be preachy about old injustices. The story about Fievel and his family was mature and didn't insult the intelligence of the children in the audience like so many shows do. Rather the story showed that we all have high hopes in life but often life isn't always fair and doesn't always go the way we hoped or how we planned. The pain of Fievel's loss of his family in the beginning makes their reunion in the end all the sweeter. The story was about how America had become a place of opportunity where people could go to get a second chance in life. The music was touching, especially the part where Fievel washes ashore under the Statue of Liberty; Give me your tired, your poor Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free The wretched refuse on your teeming shore Send these, the homeless, temptest-tost to me I lift my lamp beside the golden door
_The Adjuster_ seems very influenced by David Lynch's pure weirdness.
When I was 10 years old, Meatballs was funny. Now that I’m older, it’s not funny. At least Animal House is still funny.
Is that “Dropo” from Santa Claus vs The Martians at 14:00?
Yep, that's Bill McCutcheon. Fun fact: McCutcheon also appeared as Uncle Wally on Sesame Street for 15 seasons and as Adolf Hitler in fake ads for two issues of Mad Magazine.
weird to see that the thumbs up or down didnt come until years later
alien “wasnt exactly a profound movie” ebert? really.
Loved Meatballs the movie.
Loved Hot Stuff when I was a kid.
Steel Magnolias = flower shaped, metal hair dryers in 1950 female salons! It was really popular in Tennessee.
I typically agreed with Ebert on the reviews. Siskel would have odd reasons why he like or didn't like a movie
Now I do recall a horror movie called The Borrowers from the same time period.
BIG was gonna be the great one, as opposed to VICE VERSA
I hope that was the last time Roeper ever wore that tie.
only beeps when u open the dogs chest
i do hate when they feature foreign films on here. but otherwise love S and E
classic ebert”Its a toss up to see which audiance will hate the movie more” 😂
Color of Money was a massive disappointment. The story was so predictable. Tom Cruise wasn't good in it. And the direction and camerawork was terrible. I've never seen so many zoom in's in a movie. And I LOVED the Hustler.....the Color of Money was a massive letdown.
Roger spoils The Game
Roger would be cancelled for his appreciation of Vanessa Angel, but he was right!
I’ve never heard of Goldengirl but I remember Susan Anton and she was a babe. I wonder if NBC still aired it even though the US boycotted the Olympics.
CLEAN AND SOBER was a great film!
I love THE COUCH TRIP, I think Aykroyd gives one of his best performances.
Jungle Fever was and is atrocious.
“Crimson Tide” (1995) Review: 1:09 Recap: 19:28
Breaking Away is a great film.
This episode has so many influential movies to me. I've seen all of the movies they review. My oldest son loves "Super Mario Bros" it's a great bad movie. I love how they show the twist of "Guilty as Sin" in their review 😂 Those two are some all-time guilty pleasures for me. I like both movies for two entirely different reasons.
GHOSTBUSTERS II was most certainly NOT the worst movie of the year, it was one of the best.
On the subject of Listen to Me, I like the movie and that scene that Ebert plays to prove how shamelessly manipulative it is, how much of a soap opera this would want to be, well, I guess it worked for me because I always found that particular scene really touching. So what if it's corny, so isn't the movie Love Story, by today's standards, and yet, I'd be lying if I said that wasn't an effective tearjerker.
“True Romance” (1993) Review: 1:03 Recap: 18:52
“Days of Thunder” (1990) Review: 12:14 Recap: 24:10
“Beverly Hills Cop 2” (1987) Review: 1:03 Recap: 20:13
“The Hunger” (1983) 13:32
Stress does increase the risk of miscarriage. I loved Gene but at times he was an early practitioner of bs virtue signaling.
Consensus on Galaxy Quest
Can’t say I’ve seen Small Time Crooks but from Roger’s thumb up I’ll watch it before I watch his early 2010 decade movies.
Yeah stick around for those credits of 3000 Miles to Graceland!! What?
